John Purdy - Blessed Are You:  The Beatitudes

Mr. Purdy is a graduate of the College of Wooster (B.A.) and Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div.)  He also spent a year of study in Basel, Switzerland.  Following seminary, Mr. Purdy was a pastor in Wisconsin for twelve years.  For the next twenty-six years he was Curriculum Editor for the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).  He is now retired but continues to write for publication.

He is the author of Parables at Work (Westminister Press. 1985) and Returning God's Call:  The Challenge of Christian Living (Westminster Press, 1989) and God with a Human Face (Westminster/John Knox, 1993).
