Tori Smit is a Christian Educator and member of the Order of Diaconal Ministries of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. She studied at the University of Toronto and Ewart College. She has written small group leader materials for youth conferences for the Presbyterian Church in Canada as well as Montreat Conference Center. A great fan of Kerygma studies, she has led courses in her own church, and wrote the leader's guide for Amos & Hosea: Boundaries, Tough Love, Amazing Grace and The Gospel of Matthew: God With Us.

Tori is also a gifted seamstress and the founder of Grains of Faith design, a company specializing in liturgical arts. She loves to travel, sings on the Praise Team and is active in her church. 

Tori has two children, Jacob and Miriam and is married to John-Peter. Together they live in Oviedo, Florida.
