Incorporating good scholarship with sound learning principles, Discovering the Bible: A New Generation is ideal for Sunday-morning groups ready for serious study, or weekday groups excited to pursue a study of the Bible whole. Through a process of reading, reflections, discussion, creative expression and discovery, both the first-time learner and the lifelong student are invited to a deeper knowledge and understanding of the Bible.

The course may be scheduled for one or one and one-half hours, and may be led by church professionals or laypersons. The 30 sessions may also be divided into modular study units allowing room for appropriate seasonal breaks. Whether used as a preparatory course to Kerygma: the Bible in Depth or as an independent study, Discovering the Bible: A New Generation provides adults with an engaging and rewarding encounter with Scripture they will always be glad they experienced.
